Post N°8 English language challenges
From my experience learning
English at university, I can say that it has been a real challenge since it has
always been difficult for me to understand it and speak it fluently. In
addition, I feel that the context of a pandemic is not the most optimal for learning
English since they are at home sitting in front of a computer I am too
distracted, at home I tend to get distracted more easily since there are many
factors that do not allow me to be fully concentrated .
At the beginning in the
university he took an English leveling test and this reflects what I already
knew that my level of English was basic, despite that my first English teacher
was very good, he taught us from the most basic, which He will understand me in
a more optimal way, he was very understanding and explained to us all the times
that were necessary for us to understand and that is how time went by and I
began to have other English which keeps me happy because I feel that I am
learning.
The use of blog I consider it a
good way to expand our vocabulary and it is a fun way to learn, I feel happy
every time I write the blogs and I have a lot of fun reading the blogs of my
colleagues.
I consider that there are many
aspects that should improve and the main thing is to overcome the embarrassment
of speaking English aloud in front of others that would help me a lot since I
could express myself more easily, I also have to improve in listening to audios
since it is something which makes it quite difficult for me.
I use English several times a
week and I do it through songs and series which I consider is a good way to
learn since I do it through activities that are of interest to me.
I also feel embarrassed when I speak English in front of others :(
